The following are taken from my Jet setting Josh Facebook page and personal Facebook page, of all the other hikes/destinations I have explored, in 2018, that are not in my travel posts

22 Aug 2018 – Australian War Memorial

The Australian War Memorial is Australia’s national memorial to the members of its armed forces and supporting organisations who have died or participated in wars involving the Commonwealth of Australia. It is ranked number 1 by TripAdvisor as the best museum in Australia. It is a must see when in the nations capital, Canberra, and it’s free #lestweforget #soldieron #sidebyside

18 Sept 2018 – Floriade

Discover the largest #flower show in the Southern Hemisphere, 15 September – 14 October, which is in it’s 31st year, in Lonely Planet’s third best city in the world to visit in 2018. It showcases one million flowers in bloom. Last year over 400,000 people visited and it’s free. Floriade should be on your list when you #visitcanberra #lifeinbloom

18 Nov 2018 – Penrith Whitewater Stadium, NSW

Awesome weekend learning how to run whitewater, in training for my next big upcoming adventure. My friend Shane isn’t one for photos though.

17 Dec 2018 – Bullen Range Nature Reserve

Finished off walking the entire Murrumbidgee Discovery Track (Casuarina Sands to Point Hut, 27 km in total) this weekend, with the highlight of going for a dip in the river at Red Rocks Gorge. Not a difficult hike at all but it is partially exposed so take plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat. The water whilst slightly dirty looking flows from the snowy mountains in NSW and was really refreshing and a great way to cool off.

21 Dec 2018 – Yass, NSW

One hour north outside of Australia’s national capital, is Yass. A nice little country town, that has a park, named in honor of Andrew Barton “Banjo” Paterson, who was an Australian bush poet, journalist and author. The lamb roast at the pub was great. You gotta love the calenders at country town news agency’s 😁

22 Dec 2018 – Namadgi National Park

About 1h 30mins drive south of Canberra, just off Boboyan Road, is the moderately easy 4km, 1 hour return, 180m elevation gain, Yerrabi track walk. With a lot of leaves and small shale-like rocks on the track, it can get slippery when wet but worth it for the great valley views #jetsettingjosh #fitnessadventuretravel #hike #whattododuringchristmasbreak

23 Dec 2018 – Parliamentary Triangle

Summer #sunsets in Australia’s national capital are absolutely #stunning. Do you agree? #visitcanberra
